There's something about meeting Father Christmas that makes Christmas feel truly magical. The excitement of waiting to see Santa, the whispered Christmas wishes and that priceless look on your child's face when they finally meet the man in red. It's one of those moments you'll want to remember long after they've grown up.

And let's be honest, as parents and grandparents, we love the magic just as much as they do!

If you're wondering where to see Santa in London this Christmas, we've got just the place. At The Ideal Christmas Show, sponsored by BYD, at Olympia London from 26-29 November 2026, you can visit Santa's Grotto and turn a special Christmas tradition into a fun-filled family day out.

Get Squishy at the Christmas Slime Studio

If there's one thing most children can't get enough of, it's slime! And if you're looking for fun Christmas activities for kids in London, this one is bound to be a hit.

At the Christmas Slime Studio, little makers can create their very own festive slime from start to finish. They'll choose a Christmas-inspired scent, pick their favourite colours and add sparkle, charms and playful mix-ins to make something completely their own.

Then comes the best bit. Stretching, swirling, squishing and popping their creations before taking them home.

All the messy fun, without having to clean up your kitchen afterwards. What's not to love?

Let them discover their next Christmas Wish

We all know how quickly children's Christmas wish lists can grow, especially once they've had the chance to try something new!

At The Ideal Christmas Show, there's plenty to keep curious little minds and busy hands entertained.

Get hands-on with Nintendo, Tonies and POSCA, where children and grown-ups can play, create and discover together. Whether they're exploring a new game, getting creative or finding their next favourite thing, there are plenty of opportunities to add to that all-important Christmas list.

And who knows? You might even tick off a few presents while you're there.

Play together at the Entertainment Hub

Think retro arcade games, pinball, puzzles, building sets and clever gadgets, all waiting to be explored.

The Entertainment Hub is packed with opportunities for a little friendly family competition. Challenge the kids to a game, see who's the pinball champion or get stuck into something you can build together.

It's a chance to enjoy some proper family fun, discover new favourites and perhaps introduce the children to a few games you loved growing up.
